Our Plans for 2027 and Beyond — WoW: Forever, Other Games, and Coding

The End of 2026

Focusing on WoW: Forever with a side of Mass Effect

Kayluun and Catreina have been having a grand time in the final quarter of 2026 so far, and we expect that to continue for the foreseeable future. The end of the year will be filled with WoW: Forever, as we speed toward the November 4th launch. Then there will very likely be a ton of news concerning the next Mass Effect game and the Amazon series arriving on N7 Day—November 7th. Catreina is primarily looking forward to the wealth of role-playing hardcore dead-is-dead content potential that comes with both, with a large section of the website dedicated to the role-playing of each of her characters.

But for a large part of the rest of 2026, WoW: Forever, and the gameplay that will come with that release, are going to be the primary focus.

What This Means Generally

Both Catreina and Kayluun will be playing a LOT of WoW: Forever from launch through the end of the year. They don’t yet know what faction, race, or class they will be playing, with Catreina saying that her choice will ultimately depend on the guild she lands with, at least until Hardcore releases in December. It also means that the majority of game content will be surrounding WoW: Forever for the majority of the remainder of 2026.

Catreina will be creating storylines for each character in these games she creates, and has also talked about possible cosplay themed streams when she is playing these characters. Each character will have their own origin and backstory, view on the world, and a “journal” available on the website for deeper character building regardless of the game world or universe that character lives in.

What About the Eltanin MMO Project?

Eltanin is not being shelved, not by a long shot. I am still very much wanting to do more work on Eltanin’s lore and MVP code. The announcement of WoW: Forever was a welcome surprise, but the side-effect was a near-stop on my educational pursuits with C#, Godot, and the Eltanin Project as a whole.

That changes at the end of the WoW: Forever beta and into the new year. First, Eltanin has not stopped being a part of Catreina’s planning, and the stream will return to the coding side during the two weeks between the closure of the WoW: Forever Beta on October 21st and launch on November 4th.

Secondly, and more importantly in Catreina’s mind, is that the coding content will return to a daily schedule, though Kay and Cat do not yet know what that schedule ultimately looks like. It will mean, however, more content and more ways to consume that content.

Other Content?

Kayluun wants to stream cooking-related content. Catreina is all for streaming a bit more IRL-style content. Both will be developed as part of their 2027 goals. Additional non-stream content availability through Discord for supporters, for example, is a desire Kayluun and Catreina both hold. More details about these will be forthcoming sometime in January.

The TL,DR:

The end of 2026 will remain focused primarily on WoW: Forever, but Catreina and Kayluun have been talking about streaming and how they can make a more positive impact on their online communities. With 2027 just around the corner, a renewed focus on providing educational, entertaining, and engaging environment that welcomes everyone with no judgement is the focus for both Catriena’s and Kayluun’s online streaming interests. WoW: Forever will be a centerpiece to that content, but other games will have some stage-time as well, especially those games Catreina has a fond connection with such as Mass Effect. With 2027 comes possible cosplay, definite in-character role playing, and hardcore content.
