World of Warcraft: Forever
World of Warcraft has a new entry in the form of Classic+… I mean WoW Forever.
Revealed at BlizzCon and scheduled for a November 4th release, WoW Forever takes the original vanilla game and adds contemporary lighting, revamped class talent trees, new skills, and new class/race combinations (human hunter, dwarf shaman, and more). But it also adds a new race (the Skyborne), a bunch of new zones, dungeons, raids, and over 1,000 new quests. And after launch, Blizzard promises horizontal progression… never bypassing level 60 and allowing all content to have replayability “forever,” with four different playstyles instead of realms, but still region-locked — Normal, Role Playing, PvP, and Hardcore.
The WoW Forever Beta runs from September 19th through October 21st, with an eventual level cap of 30.
